Course Overview

Are your leaders equipped with the facilitation skills necessary to engage and encourage participation when delivering training and leading group discussions within their teams?

This course is tailored for team leaders, supervisors, and managers to enhance their facilitation techniques across various contexts. Participants will learn how to effectively manage conflict and navigate differing opinions during group discussions. They’ll also gain skills in adapting conversations and steering them back on topic when needed.

Through interactive exercises and practical examples, participants will develop the confidence and expertise to facilitate engaging and productive discussions that lead to meaningful outcomes. By the end of the course, leaders will be better equipped to foster collaboration, drive engagement, and achieve desired results within their teams.

Duration and Delivery

This course offers two options:

  • a full-day (8 hours)
  • a half-day (4 hours)

Both options are available either as face-to-face sessions for up to 18 participants or as virtual sessions for up to 9 participants.

Course Customisation

To ensure our training meets the specific needs of your organisation, our Instructional Design Team will facilitate a virtual meeting to customise and contextualise the content. This will include developing suitable activities, scenarios, and workplace application strategies, in line with your workplace procedures and practises, to ensure meaningful outcomes. 

Course Inclusions

  • Workbook – a take-away workbook of content, activities and notes from the workshop
  • Customisation is included in the course cost

Optional Extra

We recommend an eLearning module be completed by participants prior to the workshop. This pre-learning will provide the underpinning knowledge for theorists and reflectors and allow the session to be more practical and application based (at additional cost)

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in facilitating diverse groups and complex discussions
