Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

  1. All work undertaken by Future Institute of Australia is subject to the terms and conditions here set out.
  2. These terms and conditions cannot be varied or waived, unless mutually agreed in writing and signed by an executive of Future Institute of Australia Pty Ltd.
  3. Future Institute of Australia reserves the right to change course schedules, course pricing, discontinue courses, modify course content, limit class size or cancel courses prior to course booking confirmation. The Client will be notified by email should any of these details be changed.
  4. The purchaser agrees to the booking terms and conditions of this contract.

COURSE CONFIRMATION

  1. Course participants and the booking contact will receive a course booking confirmation email upon enrolment. Once the course booking confirmation has been received, the participants spot on the course has been secured.

PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Upon receipt of the course booking confirmation email, the invoice becomes payable and is considered non-refundable.
  2. All invoices must be settled by the date of the training
  3. In the event a participant is unable to attend the scheduled course, informing Future Institute at least 10 days prior to the course allows for the issuance of a credit towards a future course.
  4. Failure to provide the minimum 10 days’ notice will result in the retention of all fees, which remain payable.
  5. The client is permitted to select an alternative participant to attend the course, should the original participant become unavailable any time prior to course commencement. Participant substitution on training courses is free of charge
  6. Once a course has commenced, no substitutions will be accepted.
  7. Substitutions, cancellations and transfers (for training) will only be accepted in writing or via email (admin@futureinstitute.edu.au).

REFUND POLICY

  1. Future Institute may cancel any training event on notice. If this occurs, and the purchaser has pre-paid, Future Institute of Australia will refund the course fee paid or offer an alternative date for consideration.
  2. Future Institute of Australia reserves the right to dismiss any participant from the course due to improper conduct, violation of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines, or disruptive behaviour. In the event of such dismissal, the client will not be entitled to any refunds. The decision to dismiss a participant is at the sole discretion of Future Institute of Australia and shall be final.
  3. Completion of the course does not guarantee a passing grade. Regardless of course outcome or assessment results, the full fee remains payable.
  4. Attendance and active participation throughout the entire duration of the course are mandatory. If a participant fails to complete the entire course, they will be required to re-enrol in a future course and fulfill the fee payment obligations anew to become eligible for assessment.
  5. In the event a participant attends only a portion of the course, the full fee remains payable. Should the participant wish to complete the course at a later date, the fee will need to be paid again in its entirety.

REGISTRATION CHANGES

  1. All changes to registration details must be made in writing or via email (admin@futureinstitute.edu.au).

NO LIABILITY

  1. The training provided by Future Institute of Australia is intended to supplement, not replace, any legal obligations or requirements stipulated by relevant legislation, standards, or laws governing Workplace Health and Safety (WHS). Future Institute of Australia shall not be held liable for any failure to comply with such legislation or any subsequent consequences resulting from any non-compliance. The responsibility to adhere to and fulfill legal obligations remains solely with the participant or their employing entity.
  2. Future Institute of Australia makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the training content for any particular purpose. Participation in the training does not guarantee compliance with specific legal requirements, and no representations or warranties are made to that effect.

COPYRIGHT AND OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, copyright of all course material remains with Future Institute of Australia, except where stated and may not be reproduced in whole or in part, recorded, loaned, broadcast, stored in a retrieval system or displayed publicly without prior permission.
  2. The copyright of all course material and publicity material is invested, except where stated and may not be reproduced in whole or in part, recorded, loaned, broadcast, stored in a retrieval system or displayed publicly without prior permission.

ASSIGNMENT

  1. Future Institute of Australia may assign, novate, subcontract or otherwise transfer all or any part of its rights or liabilities under this arrangement without the consent of the Client. The Client must executive any document reasonably required by the Future Institute of Australia to give effect to the assignment, novation or transfer.

WARRANTY

  1. The Client warrants that all courses will have been approved by them as fit for purpose before release to their staff.
  2. Courses are provided by Future Institute of Australia for general training purposes and should not be considered professional advice.

COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. There are no formal pre-requisites for this course, however in order to complete the required assessments for this course, participants will need access to a workplace with existing WHS policies and procedures. It is expected that participants booking to this course have a minimum of 10 years of schooling, Cert III Qualification or equivalent work experience, in addition have professional working proficiency in English and the ability to access and use technology to create business documents.
  2. Before booking the course, the client should consult Future Institute if they believe the participant/s have any factors which may affect their ability to successfully undertake the course. This could include physical limitations, literacy issues, dyslexia, English language difficulties, etc. This will help us to advise you about the suitability of the course, provide the participant with a pre-enrolment language literacy and numeracy assessment and / or enable us to consult with you about adjustments that could be made to improve their learning experience.

ASSESSMENTS

  1. Participants will submit any assessments required in connection with a course by the date that is 8 weeks after the final training date of that course .
  2. FIOA, in its sole discretion, may extend an Assessment Submission Date for a participant by up to a period of three months at no additional cost to the client.
  3. Further extensions beyond an extension granted in accordance with clause 1 may be requested by the Client in writing to FIOA and, if approved, will incur additional charges. The additional charges will be negotiated between FIOA and the Client based on the specific circumstances of the extension requested.
  4. Statements of Attainment will only be issued to the participant once full course payment has been made.
