This course focuses on the general principles applied to the prevention and management of psychosocial hazards in the workplace. Practical guidance will be provided for managers, supervisors, and team leaders to identify exposure to psychosocial hazards in the workplace, such as stress, fatigue, burnout, as well as bullying, harassment, violence, aggression, discrimination and misconduct; to develop and implement strategies to manage and reduce the risks.
ISO 45003 is the first global standard giving practical guidance on managing psychosocial health in the workplace. It includes information on how to recognise the psychosocial hazards that can affect workers and offers examples of effective – often simple – actions that can be taken to manage these and improve employee wellbeing.
This course offers two options:
Both options are available either as face-to-face sessions for up to 18 participants or as virtual sessions for up to 9 participants.
To ensure our training meets the specific needs of your organisation, our Instructional Design Team will facilitate a virtual meeting to customise and contextualise the content.
This includes the activities in line with your workplace procedures and practices, and develop suitable activities, scenarios, and workplace application strategies to ensure meaningful outcomes.
We recommend an eLearning module be completed by participants prior to the workshop. This pre-learning will provide the underpinning knowledge for theorists and reflectors and allow the session to be more practical and application based (at additional cost)
Location
Delivered at your workplace, Australia wide
Or at our training centre in Victoria Park (at additional cost).
Fees
$4,995 (+GST) 8 hours

“Motivation Foundation recently partnered with Future Institute of Australia when they facilitated a psychosocial hazards risk assessment workshop at their training centre in Vic Park. The team at Future Institute worked closely with us to fully customise the training session, incorporating our company logo, relevant photos and industry-specific scenarios.
The workshop provided an invaluable opportunity for our entire team to come together for an open and honest conversation about psychological safety and psychosocial hazards in our workplace. Through a series of group activities and discussions, we were able to identify our work-related psychosocial hazards and conduct a thorough risk assessment.
The highlight of the program was the engagement from all levels of our organisation, ensuring everyone understood the legislative requirements and the necessary steps to implement effective changes. By the end of the workshop, we had developed a draft Risk Management Plan focused on reducing psychosocial hazards.
Cailin Mitchell, our facilitator, was up there with the best of them! Her extensive knowledge and engaging approach made the experience both informative and impactful.”
